Bunker Hill
A gentle (!) hill, one defending bunker, 5 flags for the attackers to grab - how difficult could it be?! One of the most intense and most popular games at 6E.
Defend the Bastille
An attack and defend scenario. Play it both ways in the course of the day. Communication is the key for the defenders. Crossing the river is the tough one for the attackers. Watch out for a version of this game with a twist and a traitor on each team!
Secret Agents
Escort 007 back to base through enemy territory. A tough one to play if you're one of the few assassins. Escort, there's more of you - count the assassins and keep Bond safe!
Prisoners
You have one of their team, they have one of your team. Play the entire site to launch a rescue mission. One of the longer, more tactical creep-about games at 6E.
Flag in the Middle
One flag, two teams, total chaos! A variation of the basic flag grab, played in either Zone 2 or 4.
Armbands
Everyone out for themselves to hunt down armband trophies!
Game Scenarios
The 6th Element site is located within a wooded river valley in the grounds of Witton Castle, Witton le Wear, County Durham. The site itself comprises a Safe Area where players can relax between games with a coffee or cold drink and 8 game zones within the woods. Each Zone has unique features, including bunkers, bridges, hills, steep slopes, dense pine and open greenwood, creating great opportunities for a wide range of game scenarios.
On a normal day, we usually play between 8 and 10 games and we try to vary the type of scenario played as much as possible. The river valley and steep slopes makes for some interesting game play!
Flag Grab
The basic paintball scenario, played in a variety of game zones. Use the impressive terrain, hillsides and riverbanks to gain the best advantage over the other side. Decide who is attacking and who is staying to defend your base, and go for it!!
